[The feed opens up to a huge egg taking up all of the screen. Eventually it moves away and Larry's lap comes into view...and eventually Larry himself, sitting on the couch in his hotel room. He's holding what seems to be a Metal Coat in his other hand, and he's definitely showing that thing off, oh yeah he is. He looks ridiculously happy about this Metal Coat.]

Guys! Didja see the new stuff at the department store?! They have Metal Coats!

So, my question is going to be painfully obvious: who wants to help me evolve my Onix? I'm in Goldenrod of course.

[There's a pause as Larry remembers something.]

Oh yeah... I forgot to let you guys know I was back! Well uh...I am. Surprise! To my buds in Goldenrod, we should hang out sometime! I haven't seen a lot of you in...a while...

[He trails off as he realizes that oh snap his egg is glowing. He points the 'Gear camera at the glowing egg.]

Well look at that! Nice timing, egg! 'bout frickin' time too. Guess you guys get to see what's in this thing.

[The egg starts taking shape into a Pokémon...and it gets bigger. And bigger. And bigger. Eventually, it's almost as big as Larry, practically crushing him.]

W-Waaaaaaugh!

[But it doesn't stop there. Eventually it grows into a nearly seven foot tall...dinosaur. A Tropius, to be exact. The feed only shows a small bit of it however, since Larry is now sprawled under the Pokémon. His voice is muffled, but loud enough to hear.]

How does that even work?!

[Suddenly, the noise of the couch collapsing can be heard, and the feed shorts out.]

[There's a pause, and then he grins. You guys and your ledges.]

Heh, right.

[ WHY HAVEN'T YOU FALLEN DOWN ONE YET TOO. D8 not that that's a bad thing. ]

How have you been, Larry?

[It's the only thing that hasn't happened to him yet. What is this.]

Better than before, I gotta admit. I'm glad to be back in Goldenrod.

[ A miracle. ]

I suppose you're naturally a city person.

[Maybe he'll wind up falling off one on the thirteenth.]

That about sums me up. We did grow up in L.A., after all.

[ Poor Larry, he just can't escape that thirteenth. ]

...Do you miss it there?

[It's a trouble magnet's worst enemy.]

Sometimes. Mostly when I'm stuck in Violet or something. Goldenrod reminds me a lot of it...

[He pauses, reflecting on that a bit.] Back when I first showed up in Johto, I never wanted to go back. My situation back home was...sucky, to put it lightly. And all my friends were here anyway, y'know? A couple weeks ago... It was a huge blow.

[ He perks up. He hasn't heard much about what happened with Larry, now that he thinks about it-- ]

Did something happen back home?

Well, I got a girlfriend, and we traveled to Paris to sell blue hotdogs. Things were good for a while, but then she dumped me. Actually, it was more her new boyfriend told me she dumped me. [He sighs. At least he didn't get punched in the face that time.]

So yeah, I was gonna be stuck in Paris until I found a way home.

[ ....Wait. ]

So you were in Paris before you came to Johto?

Yup. It was pretty cool there. Lots of hot french girls.

Perhaps it was your seemingly promiscuous attitude whilst there that made your girlfriend leave you?

[ When you're with a girl, you don't look at other girls, Larry. >:( ]

Hey, I only seriously checked 'em out after I got dumped.

[He's lying.]

Oh come on Edgey, don't look at me like that! They coulda been the hottest girls in the world, but Miharu was the only one for me. I wouldn't even think of breaking her delicate heart!

[IT WENT SO WELL EDGEY.]

And when Miss Miharu left you you turned and went to look more seriously at other women.

[He really does feel bad now.]

I'm telling you Edgey, I didn't have any bad intentions! A guy can just look sometimes. She didn't have a problem with it. She knew that I wasn't gonna do anything horrible. Yep, we were gonna be together forever...

[ H-he thinks you're a good person why did she leave you ;; ]

[He shrugs.]

Same thing that happens every time. She just dumped me out of the blue. Already had a new boyfriend and everything.
