[The feed begins with a view of the ocean with Olivine's port off to the side. The setting sun is reflecting off of the water; it's a nice mixture of blue, orange, and purple. A gentle breeze makes the boats in the port sway gently.

Basically, it's a beautiful evening.

The feed owner sighs in the background. It's a content sigh.]

You sure can't beat a day like this. Not a bad day for a birthday if I do say so myself.

Laaapras.

[The apparent Lapras seems to be in agreement with its owner.

Larry turns the 'Gear so he can address the network properly. He's got a hoodie on, and the hood is somehow managing to cover up his spiky hair. Somehow. He seems to be in better spirits after what happened last month.

Gourdy the Lapras also peers into the frame at times. One might notice that Larry's actually sitting on his shiny Lapras out on the ocean.]

That's two birthdays spent in Johto. I kinda laid low for the first one, but for this one, I wanna do something for it.

So! [He jabs his pointer finger toward the 'Gear's camera.] If anyone in Olivine's up for some partying, I'll be at that cool bar restaurant tonight. You don't have to know me or anything; I'll hang out with anyone!

Be there or be square.

[Wow that was an out of style saying, but Larry just rolls with it. He grins and cuts out the feed shortly after.]

Not an actual square. It just means you're not hip and cool. [He does some silly gestures as he says, "hip and cool".]

[Blinks a couple of times, still a bit confused. But hey! She has already heard the definition of "cool", even when she doesn't get the "hip" part. She smiles at him anyway.]

I see, I see. So being square is the opposite of being cool. Is it like being boring?

Normally she'd feel bad (her dad never DID approve of her drinking even if he knew and accepted that she did it), but... well, she'd passed up a lot of what wound up being last chances lately. Who knew if she'd get another one?]

That sounds familiar...like a certain bus ride to Olivine last summer.

Larry recognizes that voice! It's one he hasn't heard in person in...like a year? Hearing it makes him so excited, he whirls around from his sitting place with a big grin on his face.]

[He thought he missed her again, like when they passed each other between Olivine and Ecruteak once. He's happy to know that didn't happen this time.]

It should be a yearly tradition.
