[Since most Johto residents are slowly starting to recover from the snow storm, Larry's decided to take Iris's advice and attempt to do some art commissions. It's not like he's been able to get anywhere either, otherwise he'd probably on the road back to Violet with Iris by now.]

Hey, Larry here! Uh, if anybody in Azalea has a few extra bucks, I'm doing sketches. I can do Pokémon or humans or both, doesn't really matter to me!

I'm pretty desperate and I need the cash now, so I'm thinkin' for a price, P1000 per sketch, and I can color 'em for an extra P500.

So uh...yeah. If you want a sketch, I'm in the Azalea PokéCenter.

[Cutting the feed, Larry hopes this works. He has big plans for that possible money.

Yo. How're you guys doing over there in Goldenrod? Hope you didn't get crushed by all that snow! But you guys probably had it easier in a big city anyway. Still, you never were a fan of the cold, Nick...

ANYWAY! I dunno if we'll make it to Goldenrod by Christmas, no thanks to that stupid storm, but I hope you guys have a good one anyway. Take it easy, huh?

By the way Edgey, I got your egg. It's takin' forever and a half to hatch, but man is it fun to take care of!

Nurse Joy's had me dressing up as Santa and handing out treats for Pokémon this whole week.

Well, a couple years back, I dressed up as Santa while I sold Samurai Dogs at Gourd Lake.

I've heard of Gourd Lake -- it's that lake near our neighborhood, right? But... what are Samurai Dogs?

Yep!

Samurai Dogs are hot dogs named after the Steel Samurai. He's a TV superhero character. He's pretty huge in my time.

....Is he better than the Jammin' Ninja that Kay told me about?

Oh-- well I found out a bit ago that Phoenix sketches stuff. Pretty good at it, too, though I practically had to STEAL the book to see anything. _{[That was an exaggeration. He'd handed it over willingly, albeit reluctantly.]}

So you draw, like, portraits and stuff?

Oh, yeah! He went to art school a ways back. Never really talks about art stuff anymore though. I didn't even know he still sketches!

Yeah, that's what I'm best at.

But hey, I might be interested in buying one or two of those. How much were they going for again?

But...no, he's NOT going to mention that he had a panic attack and was freezing cold and had Dahlia creeping on him...he didn't want to make Larry worry. So, with a little shrug and a glance sideways, he changes the subject.]

D-Do you really think we won't make it to Goldenrod it time Larry? _{[She looks a little upset.} If that happens, we won't be able to spend Christmas with everyone...

[He frowns.] Well, Christmas is like five days away and it takes at least a week to get back up to just Violet. We could take the shortcut to Goldenrod but I still dunno if we could get there in time.

Maybe if we book it on Onix today we can make it... [She was getting better with the snow, at least.]

She can handle it. 'sides, if we make it to Goldenrod in time I'll get her a little somethin' from that department store. [Bribing Pokemon, awww yeah.]

Azalea is a small town. It is not meant to be crowded with people. _{[She smiles.]} It is a very peaceful place.

That ought to cheer her up. I'm sure she'd look lovely with a little bow around her neck.
