[Seriously, it sounds pretty badass to Larry. It fits Shinpachi's whole appearance. Los Angeles might have some interesting characters, but he hasn't seen style like Shinpachi's too often.

And until then, someone who's the life of the party can't be too bad to hang out with regardless. So he's definitely grinning. ]

Those kind of people, yeah? They won't go out drinking unless you practically shove 'em into a bar!
[Larry's tone suddenly gets a lot more passionate, because Shinpachi totally gets it!]
They think there's [He accentuates his words in a mocking tone,] "nooo meeeriiit" in going out to a bar to have a little fun. That's the sucky thing about having stuffy lawyers as best friends.
But at least I can get 'em there, yeah. Then they loosen up.
[ But man, this is great. Larry totally gets it, it's hard when you're friends with a bunch of sourpusses, even if some of Shinpachi's friends can appreciate true quality in life. Like booze. And actual fun, god forbid.
But for now he just moves to drape his arm over Larry's shoulder, like.. this.. is just normal. Personal space invasion is now a thing, even though it's friendly and a little boisterous. The way true men bond and all that. ]
I think we're gonna get along just fine after all. [ That's a quick conclusion to come to, but whatever. Booze. Everything is better with it, including friendship. ]

If anything, he seems to like it by the grin on his face. After all, this is the sort of thing he does with his friends too (much to their chagrin)!

[Because nothing beats getting used to a new and dangerous place like making friends and going out drinking. If anything, the booze will loosen him up as well as it does for his friends on a particularly rough day.
