[Larry intends to make this post short and sweet, so there's no fancy angles or openings or anything like that. It's just him in one of the Training Center's rooms.]

Hey, I got a question for you guys. You all know about golden birthdays, right? Well today's mine—man, I'm gettin' so old—and I have no idea what to do for it. I had a whole bunch of plans for it back home, but I can't do any of them now since I'm not there, y'know? I guess I shoulda made new plans but I wasn't expecting to spend three birthdays here. And I don't really have anyone in town to celebrate it with either, so that's a double whammy.

[He sighs and rubs the back of his head with his free hand. Man, this is the worst golden birthday ever.]

So yeah, any suggestions? If no one's got anything I guess I could grab a drink and try to get a new high score in that Rapidash Attack game.

I would stop being serious if I managed to reach the age of 50 without any complications.

Isn't it when you get that old that the complications start cropping up though? Arthuritis, fragile bones, walkers, all that jazz. Old people problems would suck.

It's called arthritis. And 50 is still young-- that's why it's called middle age. The only time these supposed complications happen is if you don't know how to take care of your body, or it's a genetic condition. Besides, the average age of these symptoms showing is much older than that.

[Arguing with a scientist is an exercise in failure, Larry.]

Unless Earth humans are different from those in my world. [Probably a kinder way of saying 'genetically inferior'.] If you're so worried about the future, then why not just give yourself the best quality of life possible? Old age is inevitable for some, and it's best to leave the world without any regrets.

Fifty's pretty old on Earth. I'd say middle age is more around forty-ish. But yeah, I mean, I can't really argue with you there. I'm trying my best here!
