Hey, I got a question for you guys. You all know about golden birthdays, right? Well today's mine—man, I'm gettin' so old—and I have no idea what to do for it. I had a whole bunch of plans for it back home, but I can't do any of them now since I'm not there, y'know? I guess I shoulda made new plans but I wasn't expecting to spend three birthdays here. And I don't really have anyone in town to celebrate it with either, so that's a double whammy.

[He sighs and rubs the back of his head with his free hand. Man, this is the worst golden birthday ever.]

So yeah, any suggestions? If no one's got anything I guess I could grab a drink and try to get a new high score in that Rapidash Attack game.

But yeah, that's a good idea! I haven't been caught up with what movies are out right now. Got any recs?

There was some crazy action movie out about a guy who rode around on a black Rapidash and fought crime. That one looked pretty good.

Yeah. They charge you way too fuckin' much for movies here.

That can be said for theaters in general. The place I used to live by charged like twelve bucks for a ticket. It's highway robbery!

Makes no fucking sense when you think about it, does it? Thirty dollars gets you a DVD of the movie, an' you can watch it however many times you want. But assuming you humans go see movies with other people more often than trolls do, you'd be paying that amount just for getting multiple people to see it once.

I guess it's all about seeing it as soon as you can to avoid spoilers. Or sometimes you just don't want to wait months to see a movie you really wanna see.

But I'm totally with you. I always try to find the cheaper theaters.

Whoever posts spoilers for a new movie and doesn't put a warning is an asshole anyway, and you don't want to associate with them.

I definitely don't disagree with you there. I've had it happen a couple times, and one of them was for a movie I'd been waiting for for years. It was the worst.
