[Today on the feed, Larry looks distraught. Very distraught, and just a teensy bit annoyed. Why is he distraught and annoyed, you ask? Well, he's been cooped up in Violet City just a little too long. He suddenly slams the table that the 'Gear is propped up on, knocking it slightly off kilter.]

Okay, I seriously can't take it anymore. I need to ditch this popsicle stand. No offense to you guys who like Violet or anything, but this place is a serious energy sucker.

[Cue determined face!]

And since the thunderstorm of the century is finally over, now's the perfect time! Azalea, here I come! Bugsy, prepare yourself for the great Larry Butz! You're goin' down!

[In his triumph, he pauses. Oh yeah, he kinda forgot about something. He laughs sheepishly.]

Uh...that's okay, right Iris?

Violet does seem a bit too quiet for you.. especially after everything that happened there.

[He didn't forget her, just that she might not be as ready to move on as he is.]

Yeah, it's not really my favorite place. It's not really any of ours, huh?

It isn't my favorite, though not everything that happened there was terrible. [ One successful "date" with Franziska. It was a miraculous moment. ]

Nah, most of the time it's pretty quiet here. But that's what makes it so darn boring.

But that means it's peaceful.

Boring.

But I guess boring's better than hell on Johto, huh?

You're Larry Butz - somehow the world would find a way to rile up chaos around you, so you won't be bored, right?

Y'know, I think in Johto that mostly just happens to Nick.

... At least in Violet. I haven't heard from him lately, though.

... Now that you mention it, me neither. Last I heard he was in Cherrygrove though.

I hope he's doing alright.

Considering that he was sick for the first month that I knew him here, and still ran around like nothing was wrong.. I don't doubt it.

I've been alright. Mostly working or training my Pokémon..

That's the only sucky part about Johto. It takes forever to get around the place. When you're cities apart there's not much you can do.

Oh yeah? Any of your guys evolve?

At least there's the occasional teleportation. [ But he shrugs. ]

Not yet. I don't think I'll be able to feed two evolved Pokémon, though. Pess is really big.

Point.

Makes sense. Feeding...h-heh... [How Larry manages to feed all his huge Pokémon, the world may never know.]

[ At least Larry's Pokémon don't steal his wallet for ice cream? 8( ]

Haven't since I beat Falkner forever ago. I'm gonna head down to fight Bugsy now, then take on Whitney when I get back to Goldenrod.

It's so weird. My main goal was to whomp all the gym leaders...but I just end up getting stuck the same places instead. I wanna see the rest of Johto.

[ ... sob. ]

I've been here for a few months, but I haven't been past Goldenrod, either. Franziska is in Blackthorn at the moment, though.
