[Truthfully, and regretfully, Larry thought maybe Hawke wasn't that into him since she never even gave him her number after that date. But he also constantly forgets that there's a general directory on the CereVice so it's a complete and utter surprise to hear her voice on the other end of his voicemail today. Not that he's complaining!
As usual, he tries to stay as casual as possible. And not y'know, psyched that Hawke actually cares enough to check in with him again.]

I'm doin' okay- my pad got hit pretty bad during the flood but it's...liveable for the most part.
["Liveable" meaning half of it got pretty much destroyed, but at least he can use it.]
Anyway, how about you? You didn't get hurt or anything, right?
[ honestly, hawke most likely forgot. it was a nice time! she enjoyed herself! larry was a nice guy! but it's also hawke, eternally fumbling from one adventure to the next.

As for me, ah... well, where I was living isn't really there anymore and I can't seem to find my dog but a friend is offering me his couch for the moment, so I'm grateful for that. Otherwise, I'm quite fine. Bored, if anything.
