this is goodbye: letter to Heather Mason
Upon Larry's disappearance, Heather should come across a weathered letter mysteriously nestled in with her stuff, along with Pokeballs containing his Wobbuffet and Wynaut. The handwriting on the letter is horrendous, and once Heather sees it, she'll understand why he had such trouble writing love letters to girls he had a crush on.
Hey Heather,
If you're reading this, chances are I've finally gotten sent home. Dang, who would've guessed I would last this long? One thing I can tell you for sure is it's going to be really weird suddenly being 25 again. Not that I'll remember...well, hopefully I do, right?
I just wanted to say thanks for being an awesome friend, and for being there for me to talk to when I really needed it. You're my closest friend left in Johto, since everyone else bowed out before me. Guess it's time to join them.
Oh right, if Ur or Barney ever show up again, can you tell them Larry says hi and sorry he's not here to say it himself? And that he'll never forget them and will try to find them back home somehow. Same goes for you of course, but I don't think I ever learned where you're from. Well, I'll figure it out. There can't be that many Heather Masons out there.
